About Lake Geneva, WI
Lake Geneva is a waterside city with over 5,000 acres of crystal lakeshore. It's the perfect place to relax on the beach, venture
together on a hike, shop in one-of-a-kind boutiques and experience rich culture. From a simple picnic to an adventurous lake day,
there are plenty of memory-makers at this destination — and there is fun for everyone.
Nearly every watersport you can
think of is available, including: water skiing, pontoon and sport boat rentals, fishing opportunities through licensed fishing guides,
or even tours of the lake featuring lunch. Ziplining is another adventure that gives you a high-speed, adrenaline-fueled further glimpse
of the scenery you can’t get anywhere else. Other hidden beauties featuring nature include Lake Geneva’s natural parks, petting zoos
and horseback riding areas.
If land is more your speed, there are bike rentals available downtown and a 21-mile hiking path
surrounding the lake. The path is most accessible by the Library, and all residents who live along the lake are required by law to keep
a 20-foot public access way on their property.
There are also several orchards within a short drive which should allow you to
enjoy the peak of apple season. The downtown shopping district is a big part of what makes Lake Geneva famous, so make sure you take a look
around, especially since it’s only about five minutes from the resort.
Take in views of the lake, stroll along the trails and
soak up each and every moment in this waterside city. It doesn’t matter when you visit, there is always unique beauty to experience in Lake Geneva.
